REFLECTIONS ON CONVENTION
From your Section 11 Hosts
Mike & Rosy Stock and Fr. Steven Grancini
To Our Dear Family in Christ,
How beautiful it was to spend this past weekend with you and how blessed we feel as we rejoice in the memories so fresh in our minds and hearts of this precious time spent together with you.
We celebrated God’s goodness, grace and faithfulness to us in having inspired Fr. Gabriel Calvo through the Holy Spirit to begin our movement in Spain, and the 40th anniversary of Worldwide Marriage Encounter and what that has meant in our world. We celebrated the gift of God’s love expressed to us through the Sacraments of Marriage, Priesthood and Religious Life and how the weekend brought about a conversionary awareness of this love and using the tools helps us to live fully alive in order to be the Glory of God. And we celebrated the history of our movement and joy of our family being together from all different parts of the world as the family of God.
We proclaimed once again the impact on our world of living the values of our weekend and how the gifts of our 5 tools are like signs along the road of life that guide our steps and help us live a life of daily conversion which brings light, love and hope to all. The world is in a process of conversion by witnessing our obedience to God in the daily conversion of our sacraments. We proclaimed the sanctity of marriage between one man and one woman and life long commitment to the vocation we are called to. We proclaimed the call to be open to life as an act of faith in the sovereign God we chose to love, honor and serve with all our heart, mind, body & soul.
We have been rejuvenated by this experience, the power of your love and gathering of so many sacraments living and working for the Kingdom of God. It is our hope and prayer that you share in this rejuvenation and that this beautiful time spent together will reverberate throughout the communities you returned to as they feel the love of our WWME family through you.
Thank you for the sacrifices you made to attend and to help others attend and for your part in making our gathering a time of joy and thanksgiving.
Thank you once again to all who joined in serving to make this event possible and may all glory be given to God our Heavenly Father.
May Our Lord and Blessed Mother continue to be with us all….
……on our Holy Adventure.
With Love In Christ,
Mike+Rosy&Fr. Steven
